Obtaining Certified Copies
In order for the Town of Old Orchard Beach to have a copy of a birth or death certificate or marriage license, the event had to occur in Old Orchard Beach or the person(s) who are the subject of the record must have been residents of Old Orchard Beach at the time of the event, and the event took place within the State of Maine. You may obtain certified copies of these records by mail if you send a written request. Please use the following forms when requesting certified copies of vital records:
- Certified Copy of Marriage Certificate Application
- Certified Copy of Birth Certificate Application
- Certified Copy of Death Certificate Application
Certified Copy Fees
For certified copies of Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificates, or Death Certificates, there is a $15.00 charge per copy for the first copy, and $6.00 for additional copies, only if requested at the same time. For example, two copies would cost $21.00.
