All marriages in Maine are now entered by the Municipal Clerks in a State database, which takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour to complete; therefore, the Town Clerk’s Office in Old Orchard Beach does not accept marriage license intentions (applications) after 3 p.m. on Monday-Wednesday-Thursday-Friday, and after 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, due to the time needed. Please plan accordingly.
Marriage licenses are by appointment only on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday at 3:00 p.m. and Tuesdays at 5:00 p.m.
